The ultimate way to motivate and integrate staff from all areas of your company. This event will quickly get everyone working together, requires no previous experience and caters for all abilities. Picture up to 20 people paddling side by side in a boat thirteen metres long. A drummer, sitting in the prow, beating time; a steerer at the stern with a giant paddle; everyone working in synchronisation as one. This is Dragon Boating.
For the event, dragon boats are adorned with decorative Chinese dragon heads and tails. After a practise session, you’ll be racing off against your colleagues, paddling in perfect unison to pull a fully loaded two tonne vessel down the watery race course, your paddle hitting the water to the beat of the drum.

This is one team event you won’t forget in a hurry. The spectacle is like nothing else, the competition is fierce and there’ll be bragging rights for weeks to come.
Event inclusions
- 2 hour dragon boat challenge
- Full safety briefing
- All equipment including paddles, life jackets and a safety boat.
- A level 3+ accredited Sweep to manage each boat.
- First aid crew from Colbrow medics on site
- Each boat can hold up to 20 paddlers (minimum 10)
